Are the templates really free?
Yes. Every template on Construction Logs is 100% free to download and use. There is nothing to buy, so there are no payments, invoices or refunds.
Why do you ask for my details before the first download?
The one-time form (name, work email, company and role) helps us understand who uses the templates. You fill it in once per device; later downloads start right away.
Which versions of Excel do the templates work with?
The files are standard .xlsx or .xlsm workbooks for desktop Microsoft Excel. Most also open in Excel for the web and other spreadsheet apps, though some formatting or automation may differ.
What does "macros enabled" mean?
Files ending in .xlsm include automation (macros). Excel may ask you to enable content when you open them; the regular .xlsx versions have no macros.
Can I edit the templates for my company?
Yes. Add your logo, change columns and adapt them to your jobs. Please don't resell or republish the files themselves.
